Hanoi (VNA) –Vietnamese player Vu Thi Trang won the JE Wilson International Seriesbadminton tournament which has ended in Ghana.

Trang defeated Mugdha Agreyof India 21-10, 21-6 in the women’s singles final to take the title.

Meanwhile, her teammateand husband Nguyen Tien Minh took home a bronze from the men’s singles.

Despite being the topseed, Minh lost 16-21, 21-10, 18-21 to unseeded George Kiran of India in thesemi-finals.

Kiran went on to beat No2 Ade Resky Dwicahyo of Azerbaijan to take the championship.
