Hanoi (VNA) – The Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam and the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry signed a joint action plan in 2016 in Hanoi on February 23, as part of effort to continue implementing the joint statement on comprehensive partnership between the two countries.

The Joint Statement on Comprehensive Partnership between Vietnam and Denmark was signed during the State visit to Denmark by State President Truong Tan Sang in September 2013.

The 2016 action plan set out priorities and cooperative projects with a view to accelerating bilateral cooperation in politics-diplomacy, trade-investment, green growth-environment, education-research, and culture-people-to-people exchange.

In 2016, Vietnam and Denmark are celebrating the 45 th anniversary of their diplomaꦺtic tiesꩵ with a host of visit and cultural exchanges.-VNA
