Hanoi (VNA) – Malaysia has invited V🥂ietnam to participate in the Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference, which is scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur in April 2016.

The invitation letter of the Malaysian Defence Minister was handed over to Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army Sen. Lt. Gen. Vo Van Tuan by Deputy Commander of the Malaysian Armed Forces Lt. Gen. Dato Sri Panglima Haji Hasbullah at their meeting in Hanoi on December 15.
The deputy commander affirmed that the event will offer a chance for ASEAN defence leaders to meet and exchange experience.
Tuan said that the Vietnamese Defence Ministry will send a delegation to the exhibition. He suggested the two ministries further intensify defence cooperation in order to accord with the Vietnam-Malaysia strategic partnership.-VNA
