Cambodia's Prince Norodom Ranariddh, head of Funcinpec Party, was seriously injured and his wife was killed in a car crash in Preah Sihanouk province in June 17.

Phnom Penh (VNA) - Cambodia's Prince Norodom Ranariddh, head of Funcinpec Party, wasseriously injured and his wife was killed in a car crash in Preah Sihanoukprovince in June 17.
The accidentoccurred in the morning when Prince Ranadiddh, 74, a son of late King NorodomSihanouk, and his wife, Ouk Phalla, were travelling to meet supporters of hisparty in the southwestern province.
According tothe local police, the couple was badly injured but his wife could not survive. PrinceRanariddh was taken in a helicopter to the capital city of Phnom Penh for anemergency rescue.
In 2015, thecouple also involved in a road accident in Kampong Cham province, leaving Ouk Phallaseverely injured.-VNA
