A refresher course opened in Hanoi on March 3 for 111 senior strategicofficials from central agencies and provinces and centrally-run cities.
Addressingthe opening ceremony, Dinh The Huynh, Politburo member and head of theParty Central Committee’s Commission for Education and Popularisation,emphasised that all Party members, particularly senior officials, mustceaselessly improve their political spirit, morals and professionalcapacity to meet their crucial tasks.
For this reason, thePolitical Bureau and Secretariat decided to open the course for membersof the Party Central Committee, said Huynh, who is also President of theCentral Theory Council.
Trainees will be taught new concepts andinterpretations of socialist theory, Party-building issues, democracyand political system renovation, economic, social and culturaldevelopment policy and leadership, among other subjects.
Thecurriculum is based on domestic and international studies and theexperience of Vietnam’s scientists, leaders, managers and activists.
Earlier in last December, a similar course was organised for 43 participants.-VNA
