London (VNA) - The Vietnam Investment and Finance Association (VIFA) in the UK has successfully organised the event “Financial Insights 2025” in London, aiming to strengthen financial and business ties between the two countries.

The event attracted over 50 participants, including financial experts, asset managers, and members of the Vietnamese business community in the UK who exchanged knowledge, updated information, and discussed trends and opportunities in the fields of finance, investment, and business.

At the event, a representative from the British Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (BritCham Vietnam) introduced participants to the UK-Vietnam Business Summit 2025 - a new annual event aimed at connecting businesses from the UK and Vietnam. The summit will focus on two key areas: renewable energy and the development of the International Financial Centre in Ho Chi Minh City. It will include in-depth workshops, a gala dinner, and trade promotion activities, providing opportunities for businesses to meet and enhance partnerships.

Birketts LLP law firm then provided updates on the latest changes in UK employment law. This presentation was especially useful for Vietnamese businesses and employers in the UK, helping them understand and comply with the new legal regulations to ensure effective and lawful business operations.

💯 Christine Le, Chairwoman of VIFA, affirmed that the association’s mission is to serve as a bridge between the community of Vietnamese experts and entrepreneurs in the UK and partners in Vietnam. She emphasised that Financial Insights 2025 not only strengthens the Vietnamese community in the UK but also lays the foundation for broader cooperation in finance, business, and investment between the two countries./.
