Reference exchange rate kept unchanged on September 15

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,216 VND/USD on September 15, unchanged from the last working day of the previous week.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,477 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,955 VND/USD.

At 8:15 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks saw fluctuations.

Vietcombank kept both rates unchanged from the September 12 morning session, listing the buying rate at 26,196 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,476 VND/USD.

ꦯ Meanwhile, BIDV cut the buying rate by 5 VND to 26,210 VND/USD and kept the selling rate unchanged at 26,476 VND/USD./.
