Da Nang (VNA) – A delegation of the LaoWomen’s Union led by its President Inlavan Keobounphan had a working sessionwith representatives from the Party Committee of central DaNang city on July 1.
Inlavan Keobounphan told the hosts that the LaoWomen’s Union and its Vietnamese counterpart have maintained their close coordinationand intensified cooperation activities.
She pledged to uphold the achievements to contributeto boosting the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensivecooperation between Vietnam and Laos, as well as between Da Nang and southernand central provinces of Laos, bringing practical interests to people and womenof the two countries.
Secretary of the municipal Party Committee NguyenVan Quang highlighted the significance of the Lao delegation’s visit, duringwhich, he said, Da Nang and five Lao localities will sign memoranda ofunderstanding on cooperation for 2023-2027.
The official also noted his hope that the two women’sunions will step up exchanges, experience sharing and personnel training, andcontinue their coordination at regional and international forums./.
