RoK boosts cooperation with Thailand in responding to Industry 4.0

Hanoi (VNA) – President of theRepublic of Korea (RoK) Moon Jae-in on September 2 expressed his hope forclose cooperation between his country and Thailand in responding to the fourth IndustrialRevolution (Industry 4.0).
During his talks with Thai Prime Minister PrayutChan-o-cha in Bangkok, Moon Jae-in mentioned Seoul’s New Southern Policy andBangkok’s Thailand 4.0 initiative. He said if the two policies are connected,the two countries will be able to look towards future growth together.
Moon Jae-in said Thailand is one of the mostimportant partners in the New Southern Policy to help strengthen and broadenthe RoK’s partnerships with Southeast Asian nations and India.
For his part, Prayut Chan-o-cha said Thailand’srelations with the RoK have expanded to various fields including education,investment and technology. The two sides also have large potential in economiccooperation.
