A group of Thai junior Hip Hop dancers, who won the World Hip Hop Dance Championship 2018 in the United States, arrived in Thailand to a warm welcome at Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - A group ofThai junior Hip Hop dancers, who won the World Hip Hop Dance Championship 2018in the United States, arrived in Thailand to a warm welcome at SuvarnabhumiInternational Airport.
Known by the name of Awesome Junior, theThai team returned to Thailand on Wednesday after winning World Hip Hop DanceChampionship in Arizona, USA. The team consists of five primary school studentsaged between 8 and 10 years old from Tosapond Wittaya School.
Assanee Kluenklad, one of their coaches,said their performance exceeded his expectations while expressing his gratitudetoward those who helped make this trip possible. The boys will receivescholarships worth 50,000 baht for their victory.
One of the Awesome Junior members,Patcharapong Tawinboon, said he could not contain his excitement after learningthat his team had won the contest, adding that everyone in the team worked veryhard and that he wanted to become a professional dancer.
Tosapond Wittaya School Director, SongkranPanpinij, said the team also won second place at the "To Be NumberOne" dance competition.
