Jakarta (VNA)ꦉ – Indonesian businesses have expressed strong support for a paid internship programme for fresh graduates, considering it a practical initiative to boost the economy and solve the employment problem for young labourers.
Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Anindya Bakrie affirmed that this is a proper policy that needs to be implemented synchronously with the business community.
This initiative can significantly strengthen talent pipelines for businesses while also boosting national economic growth, he said.
The internship programme is part of eight economic stimulus measures the Indonesian government plans to accelerate in 2025 to spur economic growth.
