- Permanent Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh presided over a meeting on September 9 with leaders of ministries and sectors to assess the enforcement of laws on decentralisation, delegation of authority, and delineation of responsibilities, as well as finalise a report for submission to the Politburo.Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra reported that all 16 ministries and ministerial-level agencies, along with 30 of 34 localities, submitted assessments identifying obstacles in implementing the legal framework on decentralisation and delegation. - Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc on September 9 held a working session with Ambassador of the Republic of Korea (RoK) to Vietnam Choi Young Sam and representatives of Korean businesses.Deputy PM Phoc noted that Vietnam and the RoK are enjoying the most robust period of their relations since the establishment of diplomatic ties. The RoK is Vietnam’s largest foreign investor with accumulated FDI of 87 billion USD, while two-way trade has reached 81.5 billion USD.
